Knowledge provides the power to cancer prevention and early detection. With education and information patients, families, and caregivers can make informed decisions and become active partners in cancer care.
Cancer Information Center: This resource library is open to the public and provides educational resources on cancer diagnosis, treatment, and coping.
Education: The Cancer Center reaches beyond its own walls into the community through participation in community events and speaking engagements, providing information about prevention, detection, and treatment. A clinical educator is available to provide presentations in the community on a variety of cancer topics. To schedule a presentation for your group or workplace, please call 509-737-3418.

The Wellness Center at the Tri-Cities Cancer Center is a valuable
resource to help promote well being for cancer patients in our
community. We provide programs and services to encourage spiritual,
physical, and emotional health. Our wellness programs are open to
anyone in the community and include support groups, exercise classes,
art expression, journaling, informational presentations, and more.
Cancer Screenings: Early detection of cancer is the key to survival. Regular screenings are vital in detecting cancer early, and should be practiced by those with and without risk factors. The Tri-Cities Cancer Center offers free screening programs for skin, breast, prostate, colon, and cervical cancers at various times during the year. These
screenings are often provided through partnerships with local
organizations. Results from screenings are always followed up with by our staff or healthcare provider.
Each
screening event may have different guidelines or restrictions. To learn
