Details: Despite its rarity and the major advances in treatment and supportive care, cancer is still the second leading cause of death in children younger than 15 years old (after accidents). Join Dr. Kevin Marsh as he discusses the risk factors and signs and symptoms of childhood cancer. Dr. Marsh will discuss overall treatment to provide an understanding of why it is imperative to send newly diagnosed cancer patients to a children's hospital. He will then share what Kadlec is doing to provide some treatments locally. Dr. Marsh, a pediatic hospitalist, is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of acutely ill children,
